This team is wrapped way too tight right now.
Are you suggesting the Cardinals could use a little bit of Tony LaRussa's light-hearted whimsy right about now? What's more slapstick than the TLR & Dunc Variety Hour?
Bill Belichick doing standup comedy?

Interference. You're on your own, Chief.

They're trying to give you an out, take it.
And of course, Hamilton steals 2nd.

Key-rist. I need to go to sleep.

I hate Pete Kozma. I would love to never see him on a baseball diamond ever again.

Someone should explain to these douchebag Reds fans who are trying to start the wave that there needs to be people in sections around the stadium to make it work

I'm done. I'll read about it tomorrow.

What was that?????

I'm not sure I've wanted the Cardinals to get three outs more in my life than I do here in the bottom of the 15th. It's the 15th, right?

Oops. It's the 16th.

Paraphrasing Clark Griswold, it became a quest. I'm just glad in the end I was able to whistle Zippity Doo Dah out of my asshole.

In case the Zippity Doo Dah reference was lost on anyone:

Now if the Cardinals can be just as determined as Clark, they will get to the Wally World Series ....

I should thank you because the link came with a suggested viewing option of this link which is an SNL routine with Chevy Chase and Richard Pryor. Sadly, in our politically correct world, this sort of humor is no longer permitted, but damn this skit is funny.

Still one of the funniest SNL sketches ever. I can't remember if it was Pryor or Carlin who hosted the first year and the show was on a 7-second delay rather than truly live because the censors were afraid the host was going to say "fuck" on the air. And they ended up having more trouble with the decidely un-funny Charles Rockett than they ever did with either Carlin or Pryor.

Adams was kind of clutch last night. I was listening on the radio. What did the interferance arguement look like? Did molina have a valid bItch?

Here's video of last night's highlights. The steal is at the 1:48 mark.

Not really. Cozart cleary crossed into the throwing lane when he swings, but Yadi didn't make contact with him until he reached out and touched him well after the throw was on its way.
