Re: Why ESPN sucks

I was listening to the Scott Van Pelt Show in the car this afternoon (I know. Why?) and Tony Kornheiser was the guest (Again. Why?) Kornheiser said Robert Griffin III is already the "most dominant player in the history of Washington sports," any sport, and then scoffed at Van Pelt's reply that Alex Ovechkin may be a more dominant player in his sport than RGIII is in his (which will probably bring a reprimand to Van Pelt for mentioning the NHL on ESPN's air).
Look, RGIII had a nice rookie year, but did he dominate his sport? To say nothing of the notion that the Redskins have been playing football in Washington for about 75 years and have had some pretty good teams and players. And let's not forget Senators had a guy named Walter Johnson, who managed to carve out a decent career.
Then Van Pelt and Kornheiser talked about Kornheiser's golf game. He shot an 83 last week. I feel so much more informed knowing that.
