Aoki would be a phenomenal college softball player.

15 pitches in the first inning. Guessing that's the most efficient Miller has been in the first inning for awhile.

Pitching around a .174 hitter with one hit in his last 14 ABs?

Never seen a guy hit three balls off his foot in one game.

How is this fellow pitching a no-hitter against our team ?

Just got home. Did my screen really just say we have no hits?

Bucket of ice to Mr. Peralta's table, please ...

Edwin Jackson just hit a home run to put the Cubs ahead, 9-0.

WTF are McLaughlin and Horton talking about. Is something wrong with Mujica? Why are we talking about pitchers assuming different roles?

Rangers have the tying run at the plate with two outs in the eighth ...

Is that a good thing?

According to Dan, Milwaukee didn't really expand their bench for September. I guess the Milwaukee GM will bitch about that this off-season.

My team is doing a good job fucking itself, thankyouverymuch.

I don't think I've seen a major league hitter look worse at the plate than Aoki did tonight. He looked like he was trying out for a ballet.

Why yes it is. Fortunately, FIFA realizes the revenue that is associated with the US of A making the field and has put us in a group with Mexico, Jamaica and three banana republics. The top three teams qualify, and the fourth is virtually assured of qualifying because it has to win a 2-game play-in series with New Zealand, which is kind of like playing a home and home with North Dakota State.
Even with all that, the douchey Mexicans may not make it. They're in fifth place with two games to play in the group.
