This has to be the dumbest rule ever implemented. We get it, you don't want players targeting the head. But the NCAA made it subject to automatic review because the play results in an ejection. In the Alabama/A&M game, the call was just made against an Alabama player. Upon review, the replay official concluded it wasn't a foul. But the penalty stands, so instead of an incomplete pass, A&M gets a free 15 yards and first down on a play where the officials publicly admit blowing the call.
