Just two more games until the playoffs.
Smell the Glove has clinched a playoff spot and now a win over Hollywood would give them the No. 1 seed.
The Grammas and the Athols are destined for the consolation rounds, but both of them can play spoiler this week.
Grammas plays the Miles Express, while the Athols play APRTW. Miles and APRTW are tied at 6-6, but APRTW has an 80-point advantage for the last playoff spot.
FinFans, now just 7-5, will try to hang on to their playoff spot against Go 4 Broken, also at 6-6.
I need Windy to pull off a big upset or, if that doesn't happen, have Go 4 Broken beat the Fins. That would make four teams 7-6, with AP in third place by points and put the Miles Express in fourth place.

TK, this has been highly enjoyable, and I thank you for your diligence in bringing this together. In spite of the fact that some among us have chosen to cheat, and others have stooped so low as to cause God to intervene, I still was able to derive some pleasure from the exercise. Let us raise a glass together and toast your defeat to the Weeping Grammas this week.

I figure whoever get the 4th spot is going to have to win out.

I just dropped Frank Gore. It was not a happy occasion.

Yahoo must have changed it's settings. I tried to drop Gore to make room for Westbrook yesterday, but Gore was still on the "Can't cut" list. I had to drop another player to pick up Westbrook. Sadly, my team is so bad I had plenty of other options, but it was sort of irritating to have to cut a healthy body while holding onto a guy with a broken hip.
Now that I think of it, didn't you acquire Favre and Gore in a trade earlier this season? (grin) (grin) (grin)

I picked up Mike Goodson just in case someone was eyeing him. I've got way too many running backs on my roster.

Yeah, that'll teach me to be a nice guy. I've got bupkis to show for my charity now. Gore was on the can't cut list yesterday, but he was taken off it today, I assume after the 49ers IR'd him. I was tempted to snag Westbrook, but how long is it going to be before he gets hurt? He had 10 touches before Monday night and now he's suddenly going to be the 25-carry back on an offense that's not very good to begin with? I decided there were better options elsewhere. Not great options, mind you, but better options.

I got Westbrook and Gerhart. That should be the best Peterson insurance I can come up with.

Who had the Raiders handing Rivers his first December loss ever?

I did. Well, not really. When the Raiders recovered the fumbled punt and scored to make it 7-0, I turned to my dad and said "OK, so they'll lose 34-7." So I sort of had faith. Kind of.

You guys kill me. Have you SEEN my team? The Big Upset depends on getting about 30 points from Shonn Greene on Monday.
Heh heh
I did everything I could to screw up this week by losing almost 40 point to bad lineup moves.

Hollywood 69's mullet holds a slight edge over the glove sniffers.
So basically this matchup comes down to Mike Wallace v. Nick Folk and the Ravens D.
I wonder if I can get a call into the Ravens' locker room and offer Ray Lewis half of my potential winnings to take out Wallace in the first 5 minutes.

The same guy who had the Rams 6-6 and in first place after the first game in December.
That's an exacta that paid really well.

I could easily pull this out, without even scoring anymore points. All that needs happen is for the Jets to start scoring some points and cut into the 10 points that the asterisk express currently have from the Pats D.

Keep it up. Jets are gonna score and TK's points for D are gonna drop.

I survived.
Take care of AP for me next week, Max.

It looks like it is me and TK for the final spot next week. I guess I got a slight edge because of points scored and playing a team with a lesser record. That means I lose for sure.
Offline
No, it means you win for sure. The only silver lining for me is that I probably get Windy in the first round of the consolation.

^^^^ Which likely means Windy upsets me.

My top picks:
1. (6) Michael Turner (Atl - RB)
2. (11) Randy Moss (Ten - WR)
3. (22) Pierre Thomas (NO - RB)
Turner's been OK, but Moss and Thomas and been bad and out, respectively.
In any case, it looks like there's been a lot of turnover, and with a few notable exceptions it might be the case that many teams are not getting production from their top draft picks. I am willing to concede that some of the success in our league is due to managers who have a much better handle on NFL than I do.

Max, you actually had three very good top picks. Turner-Thomas is a strong 1-2 at RB. Even last year, Moss was still a No. 1 WR in fantasy leagues.
Windy got screwed by Yahoo's Big Board, which should never have had Shonn Greene sniffing the Top 30, let alone the Top 5.
