Note the Pirates saved their best relievers while the Cardinals used Martinez and Rosenthal in a 9-1 blowout. I hate to bitch after a great win, but... sure hope the 'pen doesn't have to win one tomorrow.

The only thing I can think of is they still want Rosenthal to get used to pitching the ninth inning.

I think Stockton feel asleep in the time between Beltran making contact with the ball and it landing in the upper deck.
