Not necessarily, but they could hire someone competent. Someone who has worked well with Jocketty in the past. Someone who has taken the past couple of years off and is looking to get back in the dugout. Someone who is a vegetarian and won't care if they put cinnamon in chili.

Oh, I think he was definitely part of it. Somebody is going to come along that won't bat Miguel Cairo or Zack Cosart second and the Reds are going to better for it.

I knew this would come up.  I cuold be proved wrong, but I don't think TLR wants to be back in the dugout.  I think he wants a front office position.

I was just trying to stir up some shit. I still think putting cinnamon in chili is Medeival, though.

It is.

I don't think La Russa will be back, and I just don't see how he would go to Cincinnati. I'm also skeptical of him getting back into baseball on a full-time basis.
