Re: Game 2 NLCS GC

I was hoping last night would cast him out of that role.

Re: Game 2 NLCS GC

Interesting. Would you rather have Wacha v. Kershaw or Siegrist v. Young.

I guess if nothing else Kerahaw's out of the game.

Where did this Martinez come from?

Re: Game 2 NLCS GC

Rosenthal hasn't always been great in the 2nd half of back-to-back games. Here's hoping he brought his "A" stuff today.

Yeah, I'm not confident at all.

Rec.

I've never seen Rosenthal look so dominant.

Re: Game 2 NLCS GC

Great start to this series. Avoiding another Kershaw start would be ideal.

Re: Game 2 NLCS GC

Yeah, it would definitely be nice if Wainwright could put the 3rd nail in the coffin.

I know all the baseball clichés but it is pretty hard to not get ahead of myself.  Up 2-0 with there 2 best pitchers down and out best pitcher taking the mound with a rested bullpen.  I am really not sure how things could be much better.

Re: Game 2 NLCS GC

I'm with you AP. I'm going to cross my fingers that we win tonight because I think it's a game we should win.

Hopefully tomorrow I wake up and we're up 3-0 playing for a sweep.
