I'm glad someone discussed why Miller isn't pitching. So a matchup issue. He doesn't match up well against .... greinke? Kershaw? Ryu? AND Nolasco?
Well Jesus that's two righties and lefties. Apparently you just can't use him. Trade him instead of warming his ass up every inning.

"How the Cardinals arrived at the assignment for Game 4 and Miller’s place in the bullpen has more to do with matchup than workload. Matheny said Lynn’s nine-strikeout start at Dodgers Stadium did factor into the decision"
"Officials with the team said Miller, who did have his innings monitored all season as he won 15 games, would be fine to pitch another 14 innings or more this postseason without tipping his limit."
"Miller was 3-0 in September. However, peripheral numbers trumped his win-loss record. Miller averaged 1.15 walks for every strikeout. He struck out only 15 of 125 batters faced, a significant drop from August, when he struck out 30 of 127. The Cardinals figure if Miller’s strikeout capacity is diminished his secondary pitches become exposed. Lynn projected more of a power look in his last four September starts, striking out 30 in 24 2/3 innings."

Nice to see the dodgers getting some in game batting practice.

I'm no manager but I gotta ask at what point do you just walk Adrian? Puig has been pretty manageable.

I haven't picked my jaw up off the floor from Adron Chambers being sent up in that situation. Holy cow. Adron Chambers??

I thought the same thing when they sent up Kozma a batter before Chambers, but then I started thinking who they had left on the bench. I suppose Robinson is the move, but do you really want a righty to face Jansen's cutter? I think I saw Cruz's grille on a milk carton a couple of days ago. The only other lefty is Wong, who is barely batting his weight since he came up.

I still say they could have rid themselves of Greinke at least one inning sooner if they'd just have taken pitches. What's up with this swinging on first pitches from a guy who owns you?

You kinda have to go to Robinson, if only because Chambers isn't really a major league hitter.
