NLCS Game 6 pretalk.

Too early for Game crap.

Anyone who's concerned about us losing in 7 should probably read this.

(2013 Playoff stats)
Wacha has outperformed or matched Kershaw's postseason in every fashion.
ERA? Wacha: 0.64 Kershaw 047
WHIP? Wacha: 0.643 Kershaw .684
Runs allowed? Wacha:1 Kershaw:4.
Wins? Wacha:2 Kershaw:1
K/9? Wacha 10.8 vs Kershaw 10.89
BB/9? Wacha 1.9 Kershaw 2.4

Don't get me wrong, Kershaw is an established elite pitcher, but if I'm a Dodger fan, Wacha scares me just as badly, and he should.

There's also the thought that if we do lose, Ryu gets to duplicate that playing on his head trick he pulled off in game 3, and I think it's an awful lot to expect him to beat Wainright twice, with the second being here.

I'd give the Cardinals a 75% chance of advancing based on the games alone, and maybe another 5% for Wainright vs Ryu. We should advance, hopefully in 6.

No argument here. Hopefully every Cardinal keeps his head in the game and makes Kershaw make pitches.

No way the Cardinals don't win one of the next two.
