I'm astonished he pitched as poorly as he did. Not unhappy about it, but astonished.
Playoff pressure is a bitch.
I suspect Kershaw will win plenty of post-season games before his career ends.

Thanks Ellis ...

Completely unrelated to the game--How'd you like to be that lady who has to keep moving left and right to look around that big camera behind home plate? Pay green seat $$$ to sit behind a jumbo ass camera. That would suck.

I never want the Cardinals to give up a run, but I kind of hope Puig hits a home run this inning and takes about two minutes to round the bases.

My thoughts are wacha is MVP andwe better see more of Robinson in the ws. Nice game!

According to Sculley, four players named Robinson have hit home runs in the post-season: Jackie, Frank, Brooks and Shane.

Hadn't really thought about it, but you're probably right.
Damn, kid was pitching in college 16 months ago. Unreal.
Not stirring the pot (ok, maybe stirring it a little), did Pujols win an LCS MVP? 2004 maybe???

"did Pujols win an LCS MVP? 2004 maybe???"
Aye. He hasn't won one in the American League yet, however.

Ha ha. Take a seat Puig.
This season's ALCS isn't over yet. Is Pujols in the running?
2006 was Suppan, wasn't it?

I don't know if I've ever seen anyone make 100 mph look as effortless as Martinez.

Chapman is pretty close.
But your point is valid. When Motte humps up to 100, it looks like he's giving birth.

Rosenthal looks like he's going to injure himself at times.

Aye. Freese was 2011, and I think Ozzie won it in '85. Not sure who won it in '82. But I remember Prison Face won it in '87 even though his team lost.

WTF does Ellis need to say to Marmol in a 9-0 game?
"Candlesticks make a nice gift."

Pretty sure '82 was Porter.

It's not so much his motion but his facial expression that concerns me. He always looks like he's about to get arrested for an overdue library book he forgot to return when he was in the 5th grade.

Rec.
