The life of a Mizzou fan

Team gets a huge win at Georgia, but loses it's starting QB for who knows how long. They might have had 10 wins in them if Franklin could have stayed healthy.

Re: The life of a Mizzou fan

I think with or without a healthy Franklin they can take down Florida. South Carolina is going to be a much tougher game to win. If he's healthy by the time Johnny Football rolls into town Nov. 30, then I think we're looking at a 10-2 season (loss vs. USC, at Ole Miss).

Ah the Pac-12 fan coming out in me...

I refer to South Carolina as South Carolina or "SC", and Southern California as "USC". I was confused at how Missou played USC after entering the conference schedule.

Get through Florida, then worry about S. Carolina. I'm a bit bummed because SC might have been beatable. I think you're selling the Aggies short though, but we'll see. First is Florida. I'm rooting for ya (I never cheer against Missouri, it's a step-team of mine. If they play Oregon, then I would root against them, but that hasn't happened in .... well a very very long time).

Re: The life of a Mizzou fan

7-0, wins over Georgia and Florida, a 2 game lead in the SEC East, and the possibility of Conner Shaw missing next week's game.

BOW DOWN TO MIZZOU'S SUPERIORITY BITCHES!!!!!

(I don't really mean that, but it's so rare a Mizzou football fan gets to talk trash I just wanted to see what it was like)

And projected to be fifth in the BCS rankings.

Re: The life of a Mizzou fan

I think Missouri can take out SC. I'm not terribly worried about them losing until Texas A&M, and even then, we'll wait and see. A&M looked incredibly vulnerable without Manziel Saturday. Oregon rolled and fell to third in the BCS, but believe it or not, I agree with that completely. With only Washington as a ranked contest on their schedule to this point, you can't say Florida State isn't more deserving. Oregon has 3 more ranked games coming +the Pac 12 title game if they get through it, and I think that's enough to jump into 2nd again. Alabama will ride the human polls to a top 2 if they win out (especially if the SEC title game is against an undefeated Missouri, then it becomes a 3 team playoff for the national championship in my opinion).

I'm going to go ahead and throw this out there though. Alabama isn't a lock to get there. If they lose to LSU... This may be the first year in a long time where no team gets the luxury of one loss, not even Alabama.

Allowing a TD pass on 4th and 15, and missing a 24 yard game-tying FG. That's the life of a Mizzou fan.
