    This strike zone is terrible and clearly in favor of Boston, but the Cardinals are giving away at-bats like a bunch of children just because they don't like it. Whatever it was that Adams just did should get him punched in the face by Carpenter.

    Counting Tony Cruz, who plays in case of emergency, the Cardinals have a 22-man roster since they have no intention of using Miller and Mujica in key spots. Tonight's Maness ordeal exposes that flawed strategy.
