I don't think there's any reason to believe Motte won't be back. TJ surgery is a pretty well known commodity these days. He'll be back, but it's fair to ask how much he can contribute right away.

Certainly not absolving Carlos Gomez, because there may not be a bigger d-bag in MLB, but doesn't Cole have to absorb some blame for that brawl as well. Gomez was a prick for standing and admiring his non-HR, but Cole's chirping about it didn't exactly help the situation.

Fors, I haven't read the entire story, but any time I see that the Brewers are involved in some sort of scrap I'm assuming they are at fault. If the Brewers were in a fight with a bunch of Somali pirates, I would blame the Brewers.

Gomez's explanation that he thought the ball was going to be caught makes no sense. Maybe it's because I was a pitcher, but I don't have any problem with what Cole did.

Well, Siegrist has been good. I think they've made up their mind on Maness, though.
I think we'll see them very active at the deadline.
The only times ive seen siegrist this year he hasnt been good. Maybe ill turn the tv off when he is put in from now on. I must be screwing him up.

To a degree. The life snap of a bullpen pitcher, ex closer coming back from tj is alittle different then a starter. You come in with weak shit, get rock and the team cant afford to let you sort it out like a starter. Plus motte was a one trick pony. He throws really hard. I believe this is his last year under contract? The motivation for the team stick with him through the rough patches isnt there.
