This press Q & A could have been a lot better if someone with an i.q. over 50 instead of Miles had been at the lectern:
Damnit, Admin. You've screwed up my link. Is there any way to substitute the following letters in a single line for the asterisk?
m
i
l
e
s

Fixed, I think the joke had run it course.

This was the first time I had run across it. I thought I'd uncovered a hidden gem.
Of course I didn't know the name or anything else about LSU's head coach until a couple of weeks ago when I was told by others and then had the chance to witness for myself what a dumb ass he is.
It really came about after I got to watch the first half of the Pony Excess show that TK previewed. I already managed to catch the second half. I was trying to research an Arkansas - SMU game in which Arkansas got screwed by one of the worst calls I've ever seen in sports and then blew a chance to win anyway when some first rate defensive back, who I remembered as being Steve Atwater, blew an interception in the end zone.
It must have been the '84 game but Atwater wouldn't have been playing for Arkansas then. I believe he played '85, '86, '87, & '88. And it wouldn't have been SMU in '88. I guess once again I'm running two or three games together.

I can't click on the link because I'm tuning out to Gnarls right now while I watch the MNF game, but is this the press conference from a few weeks ago when the old Cajun geezer gets up and asks Miles if he wants to sniff Erin Andrews' dress shields?

In so many words.

Hey, I'm Troy Glaus. Does this mean I get to take next season off while AP pays me 12 million bucks?

I'd only heard the audio. The video makes Miles seem a lot more full of shit.

Atwater was great. And if you watched him as a professional you figured out how good he was because he had to play two positions - his and Dennis Smith's.
