If they win tonight they split the series. I have not done the math but if all the Cardinals can do is play .500 baseball the Reds would likely only have to win a handfull more games to hold the Cards off.

I will give it a try. Yahoo says the Cards are 6.5 out. I dont know if that counts todays game or not.
The Reds have 19 games left and the Cards have 22 counting tonights game that isnt finished.
Say the Reds play .500ish baseball and go 9-10. That makes their ending record 90-72. For the Cards to reach that mark they would have to win 17 of 22 games.

It's in the record books. Reds lose. We are back to 6 out.

Which just makes this season all that much more frustrating. The Cardinals can't touch Bud Freakin' Norris and they rough up Tim Hudson.
I watched last night's game thinking "Why can't it be like this every night?"

Please, Fors. Considering how bad the Raiders looked yesterday, I won't have anything to look forward to until Spring Training.

That is why you play fantasy football. That way you have a rooting interest even if you are a Raider fan. Your second year running back put up a pretty good day anyway.
