Cueto is on her way to a seventh straight start of 8+ innings.
That'll make Brennadork's penis go erect. He likes her. A lot.
Another complete game for Cueto. She's been good this season.
Must be that new conditioner she's using. It gives her hair that just-washed smell all day long.

Hammel hasn't given up a hit since the second inning, but they've worked his pitch count to nearly 100. So they've got that going for them. Which is nice.

I forgot about Yadi. He actually gets a hit with runners on base once in awhile.

They're going to find a way to blow this.

They finished this thing just in time. The sky just opened up.

I didn't get a chance to follow much of the game, but I just looked at the box score. How is it possible that Rizzo, Castro and Valbuena were on base 9 of 12 times and we didn't give up a lot more runs?

My first take from the box score was "dammit, Siegrist! We don't need Rosenthal having to get five outs on what was a scheduled off day!".
My internal monologues tend to be lengthy and animated.

I was driving home in the top of the eighth and almost lost my temper.
The headline in tomorrow's newspaper would have been unprecedented:
"Massachusetts man blows top when Cardinals blow lead."
It's a good thing I've vowed to enjoy these games more this season.

Part of it was because Renteria had John Baker in the lineup to give Castillo a day off after a rainout.

For gambling purposes, I'm watching Indians vs. Jays and it is painful. It took 45 minutes to record nine outs, and I have never seen so many foul balls.
Also, Danny Salazar is the Esteban Yan of starting pitchers. Ridiculously hard fastball that he has terrible command of.

Salazar was this year's fantasy darling. That hasn't worked too well for people.
