That's the first time I've seen him bat, but he's 0-for-5 with three strikeouts now.
First time since April 27 Cardinals have been two over .500. Yikes.

I think Joe Nathan is an alien. Seriously. He never blinks. His expression never changes from that goofy grin. He's supposed to about 40 years old, but he doesn't look a day older from the day he was brought up to the majors. He never gets hurt, except for that year he had a Teej, but I think that was a cover because he had to go back to his home planet for further instructions.

The good thing about Trevor Rosenthal picking up three-run saves the day after getting a stressful five outs is that Motte will be able to step in when Rosie goes off the rails this summer.

Is it a coincidence that of the four closers Matheny has used the past 2+ seasons one had Tommy John, two are irreparably damaged and the other has magically saw his velocity decrease and his walks increase?

Motte, boggs, salas and rosenthal?
Now that you point it out it is worrysome but i think rosenthal is themonly one clearly to have been misused. Motte having surgery isnt suprising. The way he throws im suprised his arm is still attatched. Yesterday would have been a got time to sit rosenthal in the 9th. Sometimes u have to
