Garcia is back.

That's some petty bullshit by the Braves. Do they believe Garcia was trying to plunk Freeman? What was gained?

The umpiring in this series has been terrible.

"some petty bullshit by the Braves"
The Braves thrive on petty bullshit.

Sonic is selling corn dogs for 50 cents on Thursday. I'm going to get in line now.

Neshek is nails.

Should we start a collection for Rosenthal's inevitable TJ surgery?

I'm going to need all my loose change for corn dogs.

Wow. Freeman is slow.

Oh my goodness. Schafer should have been out on principle for not swinging at a pitch that close.

It's a good thing Matheny used Rosenthal to get saves in back-to-back 3 run wins.

This one stings. The Brewers, the Pirates and TTTIB all lost today. The Pirates still have to play the second game of a doubleheader against the Yankees, but in any event the Cardinals could have picked up ground on everyone.

I know it's hindsight, but the way Neshek is pitching, you certainly could have opted to start him in the ninth last night and go to Rosenthal if there had been trouble.
The other thing I questioned was the IBB to Gattis. I know the count was 2-0 when they decided to put him on, and he's a much bigger threat than Schafer, but I never like to load the bases when I don't have to, especially when you've got a guy out there for the fourth straight day who's struggling to find it.

I was screaming at the radio when I heard Gattis was being intentionally walked.
Also, I would like to know how many closers convert saves pitching on a fourth straight day. Just irresponsible.

Bernie agrees.
