Watching the first couple of innings of Pirates/Orioles. Steve Blass is about to lose his mind.

Davis' single was a check swing roller that no one could get to because of the shift. Cruz's double was a harmless grounder to third that hit the base and bounced over Alvarez's head.
The score is wrong, BTW. The Pirates lead, 7-6, and have three runs in with the bases loaded and no outs in the bottom of the second.
Needless to say, neither starting pitcher is still in the game

McCarthy could put on a couple of pounds.

That sounds like an abomination.

How does a lefthanded hitter hit the ball into his own dugout?

Martinez is lost right now.

My patience with him is gone.

Who gets stupidly double switched out?

Choate kicked the shit out of that routine play pretty bad.

Matheny is going to call a bunt isn't he?

Praying for a nice fly ball to the outfield here....

That was godawful by Jay.

How do you take that bad of a swing on a fastball down the middle when you know a fastball down the middle is coming?

Peralta must be at home in bed.

Because it's Descalso.

A win is a win but that was painful.

Finally. If they hadn't scored there, I would have been annoyed.

Good thing you're taking a carefree approach this year.

Yep, he needs a bus ticket. At the very least he needs taken out of high leverage situations.

Not scoring the first time with bases loaded was horrible. Then the play he almost didnt make in center was bad to.

Really? I enjoy this game. It could have been played better and the cards should have ended it sooner. I thought it was fun tho. They hit alittle. I actually saw runners on base. Mottes return was fun and hopefull. This team needs his energy!

Yes. This new mantra makes all the difference.

Terrible at bats by Jay and Descalso. They both got themselves out by swinging at awful pitches.

Well it was a really solid game by Craig. 3-4 2 walks, and the one time they get him out, he's reaching on an error to win the game.
