My prediction for Miller: 2 2/3, 7 H, 4 BB, 1 SO, 2 HR
Prove me wrong, Shelby.

How can Holliday miss a beach ball?

Miller pumped fastballs the first time through. Better adjust the second time.

Was there any doubt those 3 runners would be stranded?

Grichuk definitely has some power. That ball was crushed.

It's crazy how many fastballs Miller is getting by with against this lineup.

He was certainly pumped on the last one to Bautista. Don't remember him hitting 97 very often.

That was actually sort of fun to watch.

Yeah, it was. I don't know where that Shelby Miller has been, but I hope he comes around more often. I was skeptical after his outing against the Royals because they have a Triple A offense, but that was a legitimate lineup that he came after repeatedly.

FWIW, Chad's concern is that the emergence of Wacha and other factors have caused Shelby to try to do much. Instead of throwing 92 and hitting his spots, he trying to throw 95 and missing.
Yesterday he looked comfortable and threw with good location. When he needed hump one up there (like the 3rd strike to Bautista), he could. But otherwise he didn't overthrow the ball and was extremely effective and efficient.
