With two games done in Group the United States is still unbeaten..

Coming into Germany here are the various outcomes.

The United States beats Germany - We win the group and play the second place finisher from Group H (S. Korea, Algeria, or Russia most likely)

The United States draws with Germany - We advance as the second place finisher and play Belgium most likely.

The United States loses to Germany situations:
-- If Portugal draws with Ghana we advance as the second place team
-- If either team wins, then we'll be looking at Goal Differential.
Currently, the United States is +1, Ghana is -1, Portugal is -4.
If there is a tie there, the next tiebreaker is goals scored.
The United States is at 4 goals, Ghana is at 3, Portugal is at 2.
After that is a head to head competition. We tied with Portugal, and we beat Ghana.
I believe after that is a random cast. which will almost never come into play with the goal differential being so big on Portugals side, and us having beaten Ghana.

So for the Ghana/Portugal game, hope for a draw, or hope Portugal wins but not by much. Then hope that we don't get housed by Germany.
