The only guy who seemed to know it was going over the fence was the guy in the first row who caught it.

With this plethora of runs , this should be a breeze for Martinez...

Not trying to be a Debbie Downer, but the Cardinals have only scored in more than one inning of a game once in the last 6 games. Martinez probably has to make this lead stand.

Make it two.

Fun stat: Gregor Blanco is hitting .230/.307/.292 overall. He's hitting nearly .400 against the Cardinals.
Attaboy, Tsunamy.

He was out. Replay is a joke.

Have the Cardinals ever won a replay review?

Cardinal luck says Posey hits a grand slam here.

That was a ballsy pitch.

No one seems to be happy with Ron Kulpa today.

You know what's ballsy? My neighbor has been cooking ribs in his slow cooker all afternoon and he hasn't invited me to dinner yet. If he doesn't, it'll be the last time I go over there and drink his beer.

Wait ... Did Bochy just use his backup catcher as a pinch-hitter??? And it didn't result in armageddon???

I suppose on paper a 5-5 road trip to Denver, L.A. and San Francisco is acceptable, but there aren't two teams in the league right now that are playing worse than the Rockies and the Giants.
After the Miami series this weekend, the Cardinals play four against the Pirates, then three at Milwaukee and then host the Dodgers before the schedule levels off at the end of the month.

Borrow his stuff and don't return it.

Having replay only provesto me that it is unneeded. The business of matheny gojng out to "discuss" plays while the cardinals video room decides if they play is worth a replay is annoying.

We have an arrangement. He's got only two parking spaces in his driveway, so I let him park his piece o' shit truck in my driveway during the overnight parking ban in the winter, and in exchange he takes my leaves, yard waste and any large items to the dump in the summer.
The problem is his outdoor cooking implements are about 10 feet from my property line, and this time of year he's using the grill every night. The aroma can be ... enticing.
