Hamels like price is a game changer.  It is hard not to like the idea.  No team would like to run into waino, hamels and wacha two times in a 7 game series.  It doesnt help the offense but it sure sounds awesome.

I agree with Hamels because he is signed longer.  I did sound like the Cards were ony in on Price if he agreed to an extension before signing.  I read that a package of Tavarez, Miller and the Cardinals lottery sandwhich pick for price.  I like that deal alot.  The draft pick was a gift,.  Miller is annoyingly average.  Tavarez maybe a stud but he isnt showing it right now.  Not down playing his ability but for price I think this package favors the Cards.
