I'm just going to assume the Cardinals lose a 3 hit shutout.

Does Lackerson come with a 30-day warranty?

I'm at Bob's game (104 heat index at kickoff) and haven't seen a pitch, but it's tough to complain if Lackey goes 6 innings and gives up 1 run.
Here's a novel idea, score a couple of runs.
It's halftime, sun's down and the heat index is down to a balmy 101.

That worked well, let me try again.
I wish it was about 25 degrees cooler.
I'll check back in 5 minutes.

Hey, look, Rosenthal is about to blow this game.

I didn't watch all the way tonight, but I really can't complain about Lackey. He was awful in Baltimore, but that's three starts of seven innings and four starts of two runs or less. He's been a very good No. 3 pitcher.

After the homerun; Lackey showed a lot of guts, just grinding it out spacing the base hits . I applaud him.....

I don't know if the St. Louis cameras caught this, but after Lackerson gave up the homer to Alvarez, he looked back at Cruz and sneered. I can't be sure, but I don't think the catcher called for a waist-high fastball down the middle, especially with a guy at the plate who's only major league skill is hitting waist-high fastballs down the middle about 550 feet.

Is it possible you're seeing things you want to see simply because you don't like Lackey? I didn't see the home run, so I can't dispute what you're saying, but could he have been pissed at the umpire? Pissed at himself for throwing a bad pitch? There hasn't been any mention locally of any issue with Lackey, and the results speak for themselves.
