I heard the arguement and and i think it is vailid that kozma should have spent the season on the 25 man over delscalso. 
 

Descalso plays third and Kozma doesn't, and he hits left-handed. Now, with the benefit of hinsdsight, one can make the Kozma argument, knowing that it would require an act of the Missouri legislature for Matheny to give Carpenter a day off, and Descalso's fecklessness at the plate for the first 4 1/2 months of the season. 

It doesnt matter what side of the plate you stand on and get out.  Descalso and kozma have that in common.  They are good at getting out.  Id say kozma is about as much of a 3rd baseman as descalso is a ss.  There is no perfect answer.  They both suck.
