Pirates are taking over first place this weekend.

That's not a 3-1 pitch you swing at.

Fucking Matheny Commandment #2.

Bourjos might be the dumbest player I've ever watched.

About to miss a layup because Matheny calls for stupid bunts and Bourjos can't execute.

I didn't get that one either

I'be never seen a team issue more lead off walks than the Cardinals

From my position of blind ignorance, relying on Yahoo, did anyone else question pinch running Bourjos for Taveras? Seems down two runs and desperate for offense (if lucky enough to bat around again), the best justification is to avoid the double play. But then, why bunt?

Yes. Even Dan McLaughlin questioned that move.

Parra is going to factor into this somehow

Wow. Now I can stop pondering the IBB to .175-hitting Schafer.

The Cardinals really don't deserve to win this.

G'night, Brewers.

Cardinals two best players tonight , were Rameriz with his "olay" at third and Reynolds with his commoncore math at first .........

It's not David Freese pillaging them in the 2011 NLCS or even Scott Spiezio rescuing the 2006 regular season, but the Cardinals essentially eliminating the Brewers because Mark Reynolds couldn't remember the number of outs will at least merit a footnote in the annals of the lopsided Brewers/Cardinals rivalry.
