No kidding. And tomorrow's game is an early start. Does MLB want people to actually watch their playoff games?

Howell is getting lit up like a pinball machine in this series and he's taunting the Cardinals? What an ass.
I thought the exact same thing. Nice job, you got lucky and started a double play by fielding the ball between your legs, or with your ass, or whatever actually happened. You lost 3-1 instead of 5-1. Big friggin' deal.

Fuck me, I'm leaving work a shade early. I'm right by the damned stadium, and I'll have hell getting home with a 4:07 start.

Throw in that the reason he's on the roster is to get out lefties, and before Wong's GIDP they were 5-6 against him in the series, including Carpenter's home run on Sunday that tied the game. If I did my job that ineffectively and almost literally pulled a horseshoe out of my ass, I don't think I'd be drawing attention to how lucky I was.
Oh, and the Dodgers are complaining about last night's strike zone. Apparently, Dale Scott only umpired the top half of innings, and someone else worked the bottom.

Here's a thorough analysis that comes to the following conclusions about Scott's strike zone:
"Lefties didn’t have a terrible go of it. Yes, some outsides pitches called for strikes, but within typical umpire variation. And if anything Cardinals lefties had more calls go against them to the outside, possibly because A.J. Ellis was framing better than Yadier Molina, possibly because Dodgers pitchers were more consistently throwing out there."
"It’s pretty clear that when righties were up — and Kemp is a righty — that pitchers were getting a LOT of calls on the outside. And unless my eyes are deceiving me, it looks like Cards righty batters had more bad calls go against them on the outside than Dodgers hitters."

The strike zone was awful both ways. This is just the Dodgers being the Dodgers.
I didn't want to jinx it, but I rolled my eyes into the back of my head when I saw Howell celebrating like he just recorded the last out in the World Series.

WHAT?! WHAT?! Get some you bitches. I just prevented it from being 4-1 right there! YEAH GET SOME!
3 outs later, and you're on the brink of elimination, but as far as the success the LA bullpen has had in this series... I'll give him that little web gem, it's the only bright spot in an otherwise extremely stormy week.

I didnt realize how much i dislike the dodgers.
Dee gordan is a cheerleading, pompom waiving little twerp
Puig is a giant douche. Epic douche
Gonzalez always has this look on his face like he is trying to take a shit while looking into the sun.
Rameriz must think it is cool to lose his helmet everytime he runs
Howell looks like the angry troll that lives under the bridge in the 3 goats story
Kersaw has to come from a family tree that doesnt fork. Look at his mutan face
Grienke is just an asshole
Uribe is fat
I dislike ellis for the simple fact he has been good this series.
I hope this ends tonight!

hahaha
I like Dee Gordan, and what he brings to an offense. Puig needs to grow up. Gonzalez was sticking up for Puig, but looks like someone shit in his sandwich all the time. Ramirez - Dead on the money. I'm convinced he throws his head back JUST TO LOSE the helmet. Howell is my favorite player. When he steps up to pitch, good things are coming for St. Louis. Kershaw is the perfect pitcher in all ways, unless he pitches against the Cardinals. I have no idea why, but I won't complain. Grienke is a complete asshole, but a good pitcher who's handy with a bat. Uribe is twice the man you'd expect him to be. Ellis I like, but he has been good, and that has been annoying.

Don't forget Matt Kemp. There are only two kinds of pitches that Matt Kemp doesn't swing at: Balls, and balls that are mistakenly called strikes by the plate umpire.
