Less than a week after telling the public that Wainwright would have an uneventful off-season, it's announced he had elbow surgery today.
According to the story, it was a minor procedure that should have no impact on his 2015 availability.
I'm setting the over/under line at the All-Star Break.
Good thing he finished all those lopsided games.

I'm not worried about his health; I'm worried that the organization botched the diagnosis. That's a really bad miss.

Im not sure what minor means to this club. He could have had his arm replaces with a pigs foot for all we know.

Well one of my very best friends wife, a couple we used to hang out with weekly, mother of 2 small kids of 16 moths and 4 years and a very good lady of only 29 passed away a week ago today from a blood clot 3 days after back surgery. No condolences needed for me but id agree, there is no such thing as a minor surgery.
