Cardinals Lineup

It's starting to pretty much take shape, at least against RHP

Carpenter
Heyward
Holliday
Adams (probably)
Molina or Peralta
Peralta or Molina
Jay or Wong
Wong or Jay

Re: Cardinals Lineup

"Matheny said it took him about a month to find a way to articulate how he wanted Beltran to change the No. 2 spot and not have the No. 2 spot change Beltran.“You’re the three-hole hitter who hits one spot earlier,” Matheny told him."

Ingenious. He could settle the 5th starter conundrum in the same fashion. "Hey, Jaime. You've told the press you're a starting pitcher. We agree. But your starts are going to begin in the 6th inning, after someone else has pitched the first five."

Re: Cardinals Lineup

I domt believe this tak that heyward was juat hitting like a leadoff hitter is supposed to.  I think the 2 spot is fine for him.  He is a 15/80/.280 guy.

I think think the lineup is pretty much as stated.  It doesnt go against the grain at all.

Good for Marco.  I hope he makes their decision a difficult one.
