As good as the Cardinals rotation has been, imagine if Shelby Miller had been the pitcher they thought he was going to be (including the ability to go deep into games).
A rotation of Wainwright, Wacha, Lynn, Miller and Martinez would be every bit as good as what the Nationals have, and would cost about $50M less.
The rotation the have now isnt much defferent. Its pretty good and still 50M less

Wong turns the double play really well. Reminds me a little of Vina.

That looked like my son's old Little League team throwing the ball around like that.

Grudzielanek did that pretty well. Orlando Hudson was also very good at it. I remember a guy named Dick Green who played for those good A's teams back in the '70s. His turn was so quick you'd swear the ball never hit the glove.

That was an easy ninth. What the hell?

That's a nice win. And how about Wacha starting the year with 2 wins over Cueto and a win over Scherzer.

What is scary is that a couple of those four could have been in the other margin. Im not complaining. Just pointing it out. Pitching has been flawless.

I was thinking the same thing. The three 1-run losses could have easily gone the other way, and if they get a couple clutch hits against Arrieta, they could be undefeated.
Man, are we spoiled.

If the chubby one doesn't play like a goof Tuesday night and Wong doesn't kick a couple of easy balls in the home opener, the team is 12-2. I guess it also would've helped Tuesday if they could get more than one measly run off what felt like 17 hits.
