So now we'll see Rosie or Walden for a third straight. Nice work, gas cans.

Did the Brewers tickets say "Home Plate Umpiring, featuring Dale Scott"? Feels like he's made himself the show.

Bucknor is behind the plate tomorrow. I think the Brewers get to charge for a Platinum game.

Re: 4/25 GC

If Holliday's post-game interview is any indication, we may have seen the last of Wainwright for this year. Offering prayers to Waino and his family isn't a good sign.

So as long as this lead seems safe, let me tell you how my day went today. My neighbor had some tree work done. The crew he hired showed up at 7:30 a.m. With chain saws. And a chipper. Which they parked right in front of our house. At 8 a.m., my wife tried to go out for coffee and the end of our driveway was blocked by tree limbs. She asked them to move, and one of the guys sneered at her.  Around noon, my neighbor came over and asked me if they could put their cherry picker in my driveway, because it would be easier for them.
All of this would be fine, except a couple of years ago the people who live behind us had a tree removed from their back yard, which, without telling us, they removed by going through our backyard. My neighbors - including the guy who blocked my driveway today - started emailing me and calling ,me at work, not knowing I had no idea what was going on. When I got home from work, the guy across the street called me a douchebag and this guy who had the tree work done today said he "hated" me. And someone called the cops, who were there because someone told them I hadn't pulled a work permit.
I loathe this fucking town.

Damn! What a nest of pricks.

It's two houses in particular - the guy who lives next door and the family that lives diagonally across the street, and the latter is moving at the end of the month. The guy next door a few weeks ago called my wife at work and started screaming at her that our dog was barking incessantly. Except I had taken the dog to day care that day, and our house was empty except for a now-deceased 21-year-old cat that was at the time prone to sleeping for 23 hours and 45 minutes every day, and a guinea pig that I would describe as non-disruptive.

It's worse than that. They belong to a subset of Masshole with an especially acute sense of entitlement because they have enough money to live in a town by the ocean.
