4/29 GC

Sutcliffe compared Wong to Robby Alomar. That just happened.

Re: 4/29 GC

I don't want to jinx Martinez, so I won't say that my fears about all the left-handed hitters in the Phillies' lineup have not yet been realized thus far.

Why, did he spit at the umpire?

Who has a bigger head? Aaron Harang or Bartolo Colon?

Hockey interlude: If Detroit wins tonight, will the headline in tomorrow's paper be "Red Wings beat the Bishop?"

No. And nor is he dating a 6-4 lesbian professional tennis player to fend off quesitons about his homosexuality.

That would be an interesting combination considering Wong is about 4'6"

Re: 4/29 GC

Bourjos delivered at the plate and in the field.
Same could be said for Wong.
Adams drove in a run .
Martinez seemed irritated ( himself ? ) ,( ump ? ) .
Between the ears is the only thing holding him back.

It seemed to be a little bit of both. If ESPN's graphic is to be believed, the plate umpire didn't have a very good night. There were about a dozen balls that were called strikes, and vice-versa, though I'm not sure either team benefitted considerably.
Tsunamy still tends to be excitable, but his eruptions appear to be less frequent, and in a little bit more of a positive direction. I'm thinking specifcially about how he reacted after Bourjos hit the triple last night. Maybe it was a little over the top for a regular season game in April against the Phillies, but given the choice I'd rather have a teammate who seems to care.

Soouded like he had a really exciting game.  I hope it earns him another start soon.  With his speed and carps knack for extra basehits bourjos is in scoring position even at first base.
