Martinez v. Greene today
Lyons v. Price tomorrow
Lynn v. Simon on Sunday.
Badly need to win today, otherwise they are probably looked at trying to avoid a sweep come Sunday.

Grounds crew gonna have some magic to do here. I'm pretty sure the stadium has taken at least 1.5 inches of rain here.

I thought Price tripped over a bat and pulled his hamstring or.something.

He received an extra day off which pushed him back to Saturday.

The weather has cleared up, and according to the Weather Channel, the chances of rain the rest of the night are minimal. I would expect the game to go off as scheduled.

The Cubs just coughed up a 4-run lead in the 8th.

I don't know if Greene is a lefty or a rightly.
Come to think of it, I don't know if Greene is male or female.

It's probably better if the Cubs beat the Pirates, but when the Cubs were one strike away in the bottom of the ninth, the camera panned to the stands and showed this guy who looked like a refugee from a Star Trek convention wearing a "Broncos Football" shirt warming up his vocal chords to sing that stupid "Cubs win" song, and I thought to myself: Really?!? Does every Cubs' fan have to be a cliche?

You're not going to believe how the Cubs/Pirates game just ended. I can't do it justice with a written account, You have to see the highlights.

Saw it and you're right. Words won't do that justice.

Speaking of things I wouldn't have believed a few hours ago, it's actually sunny at the ballpark.

The 1-1 sinker to Cespedes is why Martniez gives you so much hope. The hanging curve after that, though, is why he makes you want to put your foot through your TV screen.

Does anyone else's wife try to make you eat spinach? Man, I hate that shit. It smells bad, it tastes bad, and it sticks in your teeth.

Horton just made me cringe. The only advice I ever got from my shitty high school baseball coach was:
1. Throw strikes
2. Tuck in your shirt

Iglesias reminded me more of Garry Templeton than Ozzie Smith with that throw.

Must be cause by fireworks, only saw few minutes of it, fire trucks trying to get ladders to reach high enough. Why they shoot off fireworks down about 7-2 vs. BumG?

Will Cabrera finish his home run trot by the time tomorrow's game starts?

Fire comes out of those things whenever a Reds' pitcher strikes someone out. It's how they distract the descendants of the Hatfields and the McCoys so they don't kill each other in the stands.

The team that drafts James Kaprelian will end up being pleased.
