The only logical conclusion to the season will be the 82-80 New York Yankees sweeping the Cardinals in the World Series. Nothing about this season makes any sense.

49-24. Incredible.
It has got to get annoying for the other teams. Id be pissed if the cubs or the reds had the kind of luck the cardinals have hard. Luck, if you want to call it that. Garcia hitting his first career hr. Winning on a infield hit. Things are definitely going the cardinals way. They have a 9.5 game lead on the division.

The Reds had this kind of luck in 2012 when just about all of their players took a trip to the DL and they still managed to win 97 games. It's very annoying.
nuttin' Wong about catch soft liner early on. GWC?

Did Costas just really say that???
"Strop leaves and points toward the heavens. One can only wonder if he's asking a departed relative for forgiveness for this atrocious performance."
Fucking brilliant.
Yeah, I can't believe he said that . Pretty sorry
Costas intends to apologize to Strip for his comment.

Maybe the departed relative part was a little harsh, but if a player is going to point to Allah or Buddha or Santa Claus or whichever omniponent being in which he believes in front of several million people on TV, then he's opened himself up to rebuttal.
The best line I've ever read about this nonense is when Dan Shaughnessy wrote that whenever Carl Everett used to look up and acknowledge his god, the reply was "Stop pointing at me, asshole."
