Ordinarily, I'd say the White Sox have the edge with Sale going tonight, but I'm done doubting the Cardinals this season.

Cub Fan Next Door is a decent guy, but about a month ago he installed a fire pit about 20 feet from my TV room, and almost every night they sit outside and get shitfaced (one supposes rooting for the Cubs will make you drink). It's about 75 degrees in my house right now because if I open the windows, my house fills with smoke.

I don't know. Fire pits seem to be the flavor of the month here. I walk the dog and the entire neighborhood smells like a fucking forest fire.

Oh he doesn't talk baseball with me anymore. He's much more of a Blackhawks' fan these days.

That must be universal. It is the same here. I redid mine this year and put it in ground. Looks nice but all this rain has it more like a small swimming pool. My neighbors are not close enough to matter tho. At least your neighbor isnt burning trash. When I moved in I had a burn barrel because I grew up with on. It took me awhile to figure out what a trailer trash douchebag I was.

Lol, I have a friend like that. Claims to be a hockey fan but cant name a player and only watch in the post season. He tries to rub it in my have that chicago won. I just remind him I dont even watch hockey. I think it is just a way for a cub fan to claim victory. If chicago had a water polo team that won a championship they woukd brag about that.

I worked with a guy who couldn't understand why I keep rooting for the Raiders when they suck year after year. His advice was "Root for your team when they're good, and ignore them when they're bad."

I've now convinced myself that of the two options, it's probably a meth lab rather than a brothel. The cars aren't parked there long enough for sexual activity, unless either the girls are really good or the customers are really ... er, prompt.
