Is Maness warming mean Rosie is unavailable?

Probably more in case Lynn got in trouble in the seventh.

Good point. I wasn't sure if Cardinals manager Scott Boras made Rosie available.

Ballsy change-up

Yeah, but that's a bad sign. He shouldn't have to resort to changeups to get Kirk Sausagepress or whatever his name is and John Mayberry Light.

It was his 33rd pitch of the inning. He throws about half that many of Heyward catches a simple fly ball.

I put 49 percent of that on Wong trying to do too much, again. There was a slow motion close-up replay where you could see Heyward calling for the ball. I know it's the outfielder's play and Heyward has to take charge there, but Wong also needs to take into account his Gold Glove outfielder is going the get under a pop-up that's in the air that long.

Heyward should have run over his ass.....

I understand what Artie's saying, but it looked to me like Heyward pulled up pretty early. I kind of agree with Don. I don't want the 2 to collide, but if Heyward keeps coming, maybe Wong finally decides to get out of the way.
