Mo:Mike, start Johnson and Bourjos tonight.
Mike: OK; Pete I understand because Grichuk tore his sack. But why Johnson?
Mo: Because I want the fans to understand when we trade the farm for Lind.

Rec.
And I'd like to see "torn sack" listed on an injury report.

I'm getting the Cardinals' feed tonight, but I can only imagine how much Brennadouche is ripping Votto for not tagging up on Bruce's fly ball and then not covering first - or, as he'd say "furst" - on Lynn's blooper to right.

Now if Lynn doesn't melt ........

Why would a guy with a .947 OPS lay down a bunt with one on and one out and his team down by three runs in the fifth inning?
Maybe Brennadork has a point.

I know his slider is all over place tonight, but his slider didn't get him into the major leagues. Fastballs, please.

Report from Dan is "not feeling well"
He did take a heck of a foul tip off the mask earlier

Thanks. It's really hot and humid in St. Louis. Hopefully it's that and not a concussion.

Votto hasn't stopped talking all night. Do you think he's triyng to convince someone from the Cardinals to get him out of Cncinnati?

"It's really hot and humid in St. Louis."
No kidding? Horton and McLaughllin haven't mentioned that at all.

i took Bob up to the high school to work on his conditioning. I probably lost 2 pounds of sweat just setting up the drills for him to run. Not surprisingly, he came home and ate about a pound of pork chops.
