Anytime I see Kozma's name in the lineup, I just assume we aren't trying to win.

Out of curiosity, I went back and looked. The Cardinals are 9-8 in games in which Kozma played significant innings (16 starts and the game in which Holliday was first injured when Kozma entered in the 2nd inning). They are 1-6 in Kozma starts since June 1.

Moss and Reynolds in the lineup?
I don't know that our building has any hatches to batten down, but if it does, I would certainly do so. Might be a windy night at Busch.

Well hopefully everyone will be healthy and rested at the right time. Now would be a good time for moss to go on a tear.

I'm willing to start with making contact and moving forward from there.
In order to get back to "even":
1st choice: Win 3 straight in playoffs at SFO to eliminate 2yrs in a row (beat BumGarn)! This would wash out "double hit" junk by Pence, Morse Ishikawa HRs etc.
2nd choice: Knock SFO out of playoffs this year, would take miracle for schedule available.
A few regular season wins won't do for what STL endured. Need to dominate, sweep, outsmart, outpitch, outhit, outMANAGE! SF pitching is not as good as it was (IMO).
Cubs just took four in a row at Wrigley from them....I did not hate it.
