I'm hoping that, like Carpenter, his power will eventually develop. I don't need 30 HR, but the ability to hit 20/year would be nice.
Personally, I'd like to see them re-sign Heyward. Next year Piscotty can be an OF depth/bench/1B platoon guy and then have him ready to take over LF when Holliday's contract is up.

yeah, Molina would have been nice in 2014 NLCS, he and Jay seem to come thru vs. SF. Piscotty now looks best on team?
It is hard to be positive after weak offense last NLCS. Carp way too streaky (SFO shut him down NLCS too easily), Moss/Reynolds need to both take off, Peralta would not hit 4th normal lineups, Wong needs days off, I don't think I have ever seen Bourjous get a hit? hard to think of Heyward as future offensive juggernaut, SFO owns STL and the injuries don't help. But all teams have.
If they hold on and make playoffs, will it be painful to watch? Good pitching (except Choate hit Belt?), not enough consistent bat.
Piscotty future so goo
Cain Trout Harper across the OF would help, Piscotty starting to look like one of those.

I hope Piscotty does not turn out to be another Craig .
I have zero confidence in Moss and Reynolds helping the Cards in the playoffs .
