First of four at Arizona.

They need to win 3 of 4. The pirates are sneeking up.
AZ goes with lefty tonight.
I try jinx: AZ over 500, 5 bak LA loss column!
Even SD not dead yet.
I saw only SD highlights
forgot to add: Scruggs Garcia could be back up in SEPT call ups.

G. Garcia is already back with the team. He was called up yesterday and Lyons was returned to Memphis.
39 games left.:
IF STL finish 10-29, end up 88 wins. (worst case, I would think 88 is lock?).
IF STL finish 15-24, end up 93 wins. (possible).
IF STL finish 20-19, end up 98 wins. (good finish).
Projection:
4@AZ, 3@SF (2-5?)
3WASH,Pitt,Cubs at STL (5-4?)
4@CIN, 3@MIL, 3@CHI (4-6? 2 wins at CIN?)
3CIN, 4MIL @STL (4-3?)
3@PITT, 3@ATL (2-4? win 2 @ATL)
this would be 17 wins, 22 losses (finish with 95 wins). Maybe not enough?
PITT 40 left: 20-20 = 94 wins
CHI 39 left: 22-17 = 94 wins
Not going to be easy.

Makes you wonder what a full season of gadcia as your 25th man would gain the cardinals. He has done nothing wrong. That first to third on a bunt was heads up. I think I remember pujols doing it once.

Broxton hasnt been impressive.
That AZ win last night was brutal, STL is tough (good pitching keeps you in games). 38 more games like that is going to be rough. This was a blowout (by STL standards) and it was almost "lucky" they survived.
btw: I have been high on Pham since first time I saw him. Offensively he looks like he has an idea up there.
AZ would not give MOSS anything to hit. I forget the situation?
They went after Piscotty low and in.
