Today probably takes Lynn out of the postseason rotation

Yeah, Hrabosky, it's Cruz's fault. Lackey didn't seem to have a problem throwing to him last night.

I was just coming to post this. I'm pretty sure Molina was catching during that Labor Day atrocity.

He's become exceedingly unreliable.

Lefties have an .800 OPS against Lynn this season.

Doubt it matters. The only reason Allen Craig isn't still batting cleanup is because Moz finally traded him. Matheny will start Lynn unless Moz takes him off the post-season roster.

Tyler Lyons is already warming. You've got a chance to tie the game and start over. So you let Lynn bat so that he can go back out there and throw the ball all over the place.

Rec. With the days off in the playoff schedule, there's no reason to use a 5-man rotation.
If Lynn starts Game 5 of the LDS, I'll put my foot through my TV.

Yeah, let's walk Schwarber and Coghlan. It was a.good strategy last inning.

There was a lot of speculation this morning on sports talk radio that Lackey starts Game 1

If Lynn starts in the postseason Matheny should be given his walking papers before the first pitch. I can't think of anything more irresponsible than letting him start against the Cubs or Pirates at this point.

Thank goodness that's overwith.

It's not "crazy" how many times Rizzo has been hbp, Al. He stands on top of the plate and his hands are over the strike zone.

Based on the splits, I'd go Lackey, Garcia, Wacha, Martinez
Lackey- H: 2.01, A: 3.69
Garcia- H: 1.84, A: 3.16
Wacha- H: 3.03, A: 2.90
Martinez- H: 3.50, A: 2.53

I was going to dig out a link to my Lynn rant, but couldn't find it.
I've never hated a more successful pitcher in my life the way I hate Lance Lynn. I've hated him since he was a reliever... There's just no telling what he's going to give you on any given day... Son of a bitch might do anything. Example. Early August, on the road he throws 6 innings of no-hit ball at Milwaukee. Next start? He lasts 2/3rds of an inning at home against Pittsburgh...
He's 60-38 lifetime, with a 3.40 ERA. I shouldn't hate him as much as I do, but I most certainly do.

Bases juiced here for Pham, come on baby one time.
