Colby Rasmus has homered in two of his last three playoff games. Might have to fire up the Fan Club again?

The Yankees vs. a team with Carlos Gomez on it.
I find myself on the horns of a dilemma.

His hair is terrible.

In our fantasy baseball league I begrudging drafted Dallas Kuechel for $5. I didn't really want him, but I needed to fill a rotation spot with a cheap arm who wouldn't kill me. Guess that worked out OK
Last year I did the same thing with Corey Kluber. Got him for $6
Barring a trade, I'll start next season with a rotation that includes those 2 guys for $18 total which is less than someone paid this year for Janey Cueto.

Only the Yankees (and maybe the Dodgers) can pay a guy $150M to not start the first playoff game the team has played since signing him to that contract.

Cubs need two batters to get the only run they need.

The Pirates' lousy defense is already a factor.

Im not buy this idea that there will be no runs.

Well fuck my life. Cubs are going to be trouble. They are young and dumb. Alot of energy.

That was a bomb.

So can the cubs push him to pitch game 2 and 5 or is he limited to one start vs the cards?

The strike zone is huge, and Cole still had trouble finding it.

Game 2 is Saturday. He won't pitch on two days rest. He'll only be able to pitch Game 3. Unless there's a lot of bad weather.

Cant not score in a situation like that.

Looks like the cubs are playing victim again. They hit holliday in the head and rizzo gets nicked and the cubs are the victim. Arrieta hits two guys up and in and then get dinged in the ass and the cubs are he victim.

I'd agree with you except Harrison got hit with a slider. The Pirates' track record since Hurdle got there is they tend to overreact when one of their guys gets hit.

You miss 2x up and in I think you have to know something is coming. Sort of like if you hit someone in the head. None the less, arrieta should have just went to first. All he does by clearing the benches is guve the pirates fuel. I doubt it matters but the game is well in hand. Dont rock the boat.

After the benches emptied, TBS went to a crowd shot at that bar in Chicago. Did anyone else see the kid to the right of the screen with his double middle finger salute toward the TV monitor over the bar?
I'll never figure out what goes through someone's head when they direct obscene gestures toward inanimate objects.

Arietta has become such a cocky prick I don't think he cares.

Is there really a Cubs' fan wearing a goat costume in the ballpark? What a tool ...

Being a cub fan is inanimate so i think he gets a pass.

There would have been a lot of sentiment toward the Pirates in the NLDS. There may be at least as much for the Cubs, but I won't feel any of it. Bring 'em on.
