Clemson's offense has moved the ball better than I expected them to in the first half.

Bama has historically had trouble against QBs who could move and hurry-up offenses. Great game plan by Clemson.
Also helps that Coker has been a deer in headlights.

These big guys up front for Clemson have been all over him.

You wonder if losing Alexander is going to hurt Clemson here. I've seen some good cover corners this year, but I think he's the best.

Ballsy move by Saban going for an inside kick!

They have, but he's held the ball too long on several of those sacks.
That's an unreal sequence of plays there. Apparently it's illegal to cover the TE in the ACC. How does that guy get that open twice?

It was, but what is Clemson thinking? How can you lineup so far inside that a guy can get outside and actual catch the ball in the air
Nice answer here by Clemson

There aren't many college coaches who would have the stones to let a walk-on freshman see the field. Props to Swinney for recognizing this kid is better than some of his scholarship receivers and giving him a chance to play and make plays.

The second TD reception was terrific.

Is he the new Cardinals' pitcher from Korea?
Two huge plays on special teams in the fourth quarter are going to be hard to overcome.

Is it me, or are a lot of guys losing their footing on this field?

Isn't this the funky grass that they grow outside but the field comes inside on a huge conveyor belt?
This is a helluva game

Wow.
If you'd have told me Clemson would score 33 points, no chance I'd have believed they would lose.
Edit- 40 points

Oh well. Maybe Lane Kiffin will get run over by a bus during the parade.

How about 40?

These games don't always live up to the hype. This was fun to watch.

I told Zach I thought Alabama would win 28-14. After the way their defense looked against Michigan State, I thought Clemson would be lucky to find the end zone twice. Shows you what I know.

I was right with you. I predicted 31-17.

Maybe the best one I've seen since the Vince Young game against USC a few years ago.
