Looks like weather may be an issue?

Nah, should be cleared out by first pitch.

Damn. I'm going to miss most of this one.

I don't anticipate this being a classic.

Yeah, I don't think the Clydesdales will be making an appearance, but by 2:30-3:00 the rain is supposed to stop. If there's any delay, it should be minimal.

Rain has stopped and the sun is out. The tarp is already off the field. I'm not going to the game, but I think I'm going to head home and watch the festivities.

I worked downtown last opening day and it was insanity. I think the traffic was worse than Game 6 of the '13 LCS.

I hope this game is interesting. Going to be hard to stay awake

Just got home and catching up on the DVR.
WTF is that thing growing out of Sutter's chin?

Good to see Simmons get some recognition. If Mike Piazza can get into the Hall of Fame without playing a shred of defense, Simmons should be in the Hall. That guy could flat rake in an era when catchers not names Bench didn't hit.

Wonder what those Greensfelder people do? That's a great looking sign.

Did that cameraman lose a bet. Those shorts are terrible

Hazelraker rips a triple.

Dammit TK, I'm not caught up yet.
Why is Milwaukee playing a minor league lineup. Did the Brewers violate the same rule as the Braves?

Do you think Pujols ever calls Yadi in the middle of the night and confesses: "Mang, I should have never left San Luis."

He'll get a talking to when he gets back in the dugout. The Cardinal Way doesn't allow for a show of enthusiasm after doing something positive.

I hear one of them is Notre Dame grad who is very difficult to work with.

Hey a run. Thanks for not spoiling it for me TK. I'm using the fast forward to get caught up.

If by difficult to work with you mean should be retired before he commits malpractice, I've heard the same thing.

See Grichuk--good things happen when the wood thing and the spherical white thing actual make contact with each other.

Hey look, a gratuitous shot of Ballpark Village. Welcome to the 2016 regular season.
Holy fuck, did Molina get a 5 step jump?

Did Hazelbaker learn the catch and dive move from Edmonds.
Damn Wacha is getting hit hard.

I know these teams are bad but the 2015 cardinals didnt even hit vs bad teams. I have slight hope building that 2016 might actually be watchable.
