McLaughlin makes a good point. You've got a ground ball pitcher on the mound and an infield with three below average defensive players.

McCarver may be senile, but he's right that Rosenthal's bigger mistake was screwing around with Niuwenhuis, not the home run pitch.

No doubt. Anderson just pounded the outside and they never had an answer. I'm still pretty ticked at Carpenter. The jump throw, swinging through a dick-high change and then trying to bunt his way on after Moss homered. That was brutal.
