I realize it's early, but do you think TLR is regretting the move for Shelby Miller? The D'Backs gave up a starting outfielder and two significant prospects. Shelby has failed to pitch past the 2nd inning in his last 2 starts. Today he walked 5 in 2 innings. It's only 4 starts, but in 14.2 innings, Shelby has an ERA of 8.59, a WHIP of 1.98 and he's walked 11 while giving up 5 HR. Yikes.

He left the previous start when he scraped his finger on the dirt of the mound on a follow through. Wonder if Gibby would have come out of a game under similar circumstances.

There may be 20,000 in Cincinnazi tonight. But half of them are Cubs fans.

Nice effort by the Reds.

Comcast's new X1 platform includes a sports application. The primary function is operational: You basically click on a game and if it's on TV, it will take you to the channel, but they also give you live stats and, for baseball, a box score, like Yahoo's Gamechannel or ESPN's GameHQ features.
After the game ends, they give you fantasy stats and their choice for "Player of the Game." Their choice for Player of the Game in last night's Reds/Cubs game was Kris Bryant.

Miller dismissed anything about his knuckle. There's some side-by-side photos of him from this season and last season and he's way off mechanically. When he was struggling in 2014 he was practically falling over. It looks like he's doing that again.
