I like the way Carpenter has been staying back and lining those changeups.

Does every woman in Phoenix have a sleeve of tattoos?

This is an FS1 game for me tonight, so no Bob Brenly.

That has to be turned.

Just the ones who live in Sun City.

It looks like the stripper per capita figure is pretty high.

I bet jean jackets with 'Whitesnake' written in white-out are ubiquitous in Phoenix.
Here's their chance.

Piscotty has to adjust to outside pitches.

Has Grichuk put the first pitch in play all three at bats?

I don't know if the law has changed, but when I was there, strip clubs couldn't serve alcohol.

I wondered why Moss was in the lineup again tonight.

What else are you going wear when you're cruising down Van Buren in your Trans Am?

I've never been to one, though there used to be a juice bar about 20 miles from where I grew up. It closed before I was ever close to being of age to go. I've heard the "talent" was about what you would expect from rural south central Missouri.

Sounds like you've been visiting Jefferson County, Mo.

I would throw him nothing but sliders down and away.

One of my college roommates grew up in Springfield, which is in rural Western Massachusetts and in the '80s looked like Beirut. We ended up at a club called the Fifth Alarm that was easily the seediest strip club I've been in before or since. The average age of the "talent" was probably about 40, and every dancer had a) a tattoo b) at least one noticeable scar, and c) stretch marks.
The best club I've been to is Tootsie's in Miami. They could have filmed Caligula in that place.

That was a slider, but it wasn't away.

There's a Family Guy gag where someone goes to the strip club at 2 pm and asks if there's anyone who hasn't had a C-section, which always reminded me of this girl who flashed my shop class for $5 in eighth grade. She had a scar and stretch marks. I don't know if she wound up as a stripper, but I wouldn't be surprised either.

Yup. She transferred from a really rough part of Missouri. I think she was 13 when she got pregnant. Her and her sister were the only girls who weren't shy about a) flashing or b) handjobs. They only lasted at my school for a year before moving back down to the Lead Belt.

Sounds like she needed the five bucks.
