Fuck off, Brenly.

And here we go with the infield defense.

Did you know Goldie leads the league in walks? I do, because these guys mention it every time he comes to the plate.

Hanger ...

Molina has to be the best defensive catcher ever.

This Diaz kid might have to stay in the lineup.

I don't watch the games that closely, so maybe this has been mentioned, but a stat I noticed earlier this morning. In 59 plate appearances (now 61) Diaz only has 3 strikeouts. That's pretty remarkable

Brenly and his pxp guy are re-living their days in junior high by making fun of Cardinals fans in the stands again. It takes a lot of courage to pick on people who will never know you're picking on them.

After his homer tonight, one of the coaches came up to him in the dugout and started chatting with him. What advice do you give to a guy who is hitting .475? Eat more vegetables?

Do you think MM pinch-hits for Wainwright if Fryer isn't his only right-handed hitter on the bench?

Diaz has more homers than strikeouts.

Didn't even think about that, but you're probably right. Although after he called out Garcia the other day for burning up the bullpen (pot meet kettle), so who knows.

Brenly: "Hopefully, Winwright''s trip around the bases will take some energy out of him."
Hopefully, Brenly will choke on a chicken bone when he eats lunch tomorrow.

As much as I hate to agree with McCarver, Diaz really did have an excellent at bat before Wainwright's triple.

Really?!? In an inning they gave the other team five outs because of their shitty defense??? That's on Garcia?

It was advanced beyond his years. I can't believe he made contact with the 2-2 pitch. Then he resisted two pitches that would've tied up other rookies.

The next time you hear them patting themselves on the back for how well they recognize talent and develop players, remember they booted Diaz off the 40-man last year. Anyone who wanted to pay his salary could have had him.

Nobody executes the vaunted double switch better than Matheny.

In this ballpark, the Cardinals need to keep scoring runs.

I don't think they seriously believed a team would claim him. That would have been a big salary to take on for a guy who had been a huge disappointment and looked completely disinterested in baseball.

Great at bat by Gyorko.

I know. I just like to call them out once in awhile.

They're not showing Cardinals' fans in the stands anymore.
