Because I'm not very smart.
I paid over $200 for the Directv MLB package so I could watch the Cardinals put this kind of crap on the field .

I'm not very bright....
Extra Innings was cheaper this year. Around $165. I think MLB lost some kind of class action suit and they had to take $25 off the usual price.
